Anyone who finds clowns funny deserves for their heart to go bang!

” there’s no story, just some poor guy who didn’t live to see the tightrope walkers,” said the police officer” – this is a great line, so dismissive. I love it.

    Well done.

Well, sometimes clowns are so bizarrely evil-looking that I can imagine being scared to death. Just ask Stephen King!

Am impressed how you took that bare bones prompt and wrote such a very good tale.

Can’t sleep. Clowns will eat me.
Loved the story. Very neat and tidy with dashes of dark humour. And I also loved the line about not living to see the tightrope walkers. Winner!

I am genuinely scared of clowns. There’s just something so WRONG about them. And I love tightrope walkers (especially Blondin). Can’t think why else you’d go to a circus!!

    Glad everyone liked it. 🙂

I thought this was excellent. The story was tight and didn’t include any fluff that would have drawn it out. Especially like the line from the police officer about the tightrope act.

LOL – that has to be the most original “murder” weapon ever! Well, at least Ivan died happy… 🙂

Totally got a phobia of clowns myself, especially in the night. Great piece.
